THE ODLUMS ALL IRELAND HOME BAKING CHAMPIONSHIP

RULES & CONDITIONS:
Each exhibitor to bake all items using recipes found on the Odlums website and Odlums products must be used. Please see items below:

N.B. All recipes can be found on the Odlum's website.
- Items to be displayed on individual plates (3 tiered plates can be used for the smaller items) to enhance presentation and each exhibitor will be allocated their own space (trays optional) on a base 24” Square.
- Points will be awarded for taste, texture, appearance of baked items and presentation.
- The competition is confined to amateurs, with one entry per exhibitor at the final.
- The items must be fresh, and home baked by exhibitor.
- In the event of an objection and following an investigation, and if the exhibitor is deemed to be making their living from their profession, they may be disqualified.
- A special class will be held at each qualifying show. Two entries may qualify from these shows for the final, if judges agree that the standard is high enough. The Qualifiers from each of these shows will go forward to the final, to be held at the Tullamore Show, on Sunday August 9th.
- Non adherence to tray sizes will deem elimination of exhibit.
- All items will be cut and/or sampled by the judge.
- Each of the successful qualifiers will receive a hamper containing Odlums products, on appearance at the final.
- Certificates will be awarded to the finalists.
- The judge’s decision at all stages of the competition, IS FINAL.
- Exhibits are displayed at owner’s risk.
- These rules should be read in conjunction with the Irish Shows Association Rules.

Each exhibitor will bake 3 items:
a) Brown Seasame Loaf (2lb loaf tin)
b) Tea Brack (7” Round)
c) 4 Plain Scones
RULES & CONDITIONS
- The Items to be displayed as one exhibit on a base of 2ft x2ft approx.
- Points will be awarded for texture taste, and presentation.
- Competition is open to amateurs, and one tray to qualify per exhibitor.
- All items to be home made by the exhibitor.
- In the event of an objection and following an investigation, and if the exhibitor is deemed to be making their living from their profession, they maybe disqualified.
- A SuperValu Flour wrapper to be displayed with the exhibit.
- A special qualifying class will be held at selected shows.
- Two trays may qualify for the final, if judges agree that the standard is high enough.
- Judge’s decision will be final at all stages of the competition.
- Exhibits are displayed at owners risk.
- An exhibitor can only qualify one exhibit for the All-Ireland final

RULES AND CONDITIONS
- Display three pots of preserves from each section below. Pots used to be no bigger than 454gms. (1lb) all the same size
- Soft Fruits
- Stoned Fruits
- Marmalade
- Points will be awarded for taste, appearance, sealing, setting and presentation
- Lids only to be used.
- All three pots to be labelled
- No biscuits or scones to be displayed with exhibit.
- Simple presentation only required.
- The competition is confined to amateurs.
- Two exhibits will qualify from each show.
- The exhibits must be home produced by the exhibitor.
- In the event of a signed and written objection and following an investigation, and if the exhibitor is deemed to be making a living from their profession, they may be disqualified.
- A special class will be held at each qualifying show.
- All preserves will be sampled.
- The judge’s decision at all stages of the competition is final
- Exhibits are displayed at owner’s risk.
- For the final fresh pots of preserves must be entered.
- An exhibitor can only qualify one exhibit for the All-Ireland final.
